I am passionate about Rebreathers and also an Instructor for many years. When the Discovery MkVI entered the market I was very interested and made contact with Barry Coleman of RAID.
My first impression about RAID was good, but I thought that it is only another Recreational Training Agency in the Market. When I read the Students' and Instructors' manuals I was surprised. There is a lot of good information about the Rebreathers and skills and more importantly, it is easy to understand. This is more than some of the best Technical Training Agencies.
This is good for me and for my students. I like that my students know "all" about their Rebreather. Also the possibility that the students take the theory on-line is very important in this "Busy world". Another surprise was when I made the cross over to RAID Optima Rebreather Instructor, even as a existing Optima Instructor, it was a little hard for me. This is good, because this means that the RAID Instructor knows all about their Rebreather very well.

I have to thank you again for the oportunity of doing this. It has been a challenge to go through all of these test and quizes. I think you have a very challenging program and hope people come to appreciate the quality of the material presented. I have done several other on line courses to see what is out there in the Recreational market. I can asure nothing compares to yours. I can see how people that take this program can be well prepared for the task at hand.
I sincerely aplaud you on the environmet section. I have come to learn many things that we take for granted. Not being a marine biologist, now I can understand some facts about the marine environment that if I was not introduced to this in your program, I would never know. It is good to create a good understanding for new divers so they can come to appreciate what we have.
