Instructor Cross Over Requirements to RAID Instructor

(Subject to the RAID General Diving Standards)

Are you an Instructor and want to cross over to RAID? Would you like to become a RAID Instructor in addition to your existing Instructor certification?

You can do this easily and for a special limited offer (terms and conditions apply see below). Follow the simple guide lines below to get started.

Prerequisites by the cross over instructor;

1. To be a minimum of 18 years old
2. To be a certified renewed instructor from a recognised agency applicable for the cross over Instructor level.
3. To have a minimum of logged hours underwater as required for the relevant Instructor level
4. To have a current Rescue Breathing/CPR Training (BLS / First Aid) Instructor and Oxygen Provider Instructor certificates (DAN/equivalent).

CROSS OVER INSTRUCTOR ACTION

• Register on the www.DiveRaid.com web site as a student.
• Depending on your cross over instructor certification purchase the Open Circuit Instructor OR Sport Rebreather Instructor course.
• Appoint RAID HQ in Sweden as chosen RAID Dive Centre.
• Submit by e-mail confirmation of the following:
  
  Request for cross over recognition
  Renewed Instructor certification
  Confirmation of logged dives
  Renewed current Rescue Breathing/CPR Training Instructor and Oxygen Provider Instructor certificates (DAN/equivalent)

RAID HQ APPOINTED DIVE CENTRE ACTION

On receipt and subject to RAID acceptance, RAID will open FREE of charge all the other relevant Level/s below the instructor level for the cross over Instructor to complete the academic sections. Without these levels open the instructor will most like fail the instructor open book exam.

Appoint a RAID Instructor Trainer or Examiner to the cross over Instructor

CROSS OVER INSTRUCTOR ACTION

Complete on line all the academic sections for all the levels
Any problems can be directed to the IT or Examiner who will be monitoring your progress.

NOTE: If the academics are not completed with 6 months and the courses expire then the special limited offer cross over will also expire. Thereafter the relevant course will have to be purchased to be able to continue.

RAID HQ IT or Examiner

When all the academic sections for each of the levels have been completed by the student, the IT or Examiner will sign off the in water skills as a cross over credit

NOTE: Signing off the in water skills is not guaranteed, and is subject to the RAID Instructor
Trainers or Examiner decision, and to the RAID General Diving Standards

CROSS OVER INSTRUCTOR ACTION

Sign off the in water skills as confirmation.
Submit a Risk Management Schedule for any one open water dive site.

RAID IT DIVE CENTRE ACTION

On completion of all the above and subject to acceptance by RAID Head Quarters certification will be completed.

NOTE: A C-card will be issued for instructor certification only and not for any of the other levels opened FREE of charge within terms of this special limited offer. If C-card/s is required these may be purchased on-line through the RAID Store.

CROSS OVER INSTRUCTOR ACTION

To activate the Instructor personnel site, pay the relevant annual activation fee within 14 days of certification. There after the instructor may start teaching.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Terms and conditions off the special limited offer, the Instructor cross over is subject to the RAID General Diving Standards which is subject to change without notice.
2. This promotion offer is for a limited period only.
3. There is no guarantee that RAID will accept applications and may refuse or cancel the applicants' cross over courses without notice or reason at any time during the cross over process.
4. The special limited offer cross over promotion excludes the issuing of C-cards upon certification for any levels where the course were opened for FREE. All C-cards may be purchased if wanted.
5. The certified cross over instructor must pay the annual activation fee (renewal) within 14 days of certification, otherwise the cross over may be suspended.
